Vanina Lerman Waters
I offer therapy with a direct and compassionate focus, providing a safe and welcoming environment where trust and confidence come naturally. My practice integrates various therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness. I’m also certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and as a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional (CSTIP).
Being bilingual in Spanish and English and fluent in French, I bring cultural sensitivity to my sessions. I work with adults and adolescents, helping them navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self-esteem, life transitions, interpersonal relationships, parenting, and trauma. My experience spans across individual therapy, couples counseling, and family therapy, addressing specific needs such as attachment issues, body image, work stress/burnout, grief and loss, and postpartum challenges.
